Polliwogs (ages 3-4)

Second and fourth Tuesdays of each month; 1:00–2:00 pm.
Little people love science too! Through specially designed stories, songs, activities, games and crafts, the youngest science explorers learn as they play. Investigate the seasons, your senses, insects, dinosaurs and much more while you interact productively with your peers.

Don't forget! After class, visit Sproutsville or the Oh! Zone. Build with giant blocks, relax in the loft with a good book, be mesmerized by magnifiers and magnets or produce a puppet show.

Science Stars (ages 5-6)

Second and fourth Tuesdays of each month; 3:45–4:45 pm.
Science Stars offers an after-school hour of fun science for children as they learn about the science in everyday life and in things that fill them with wonder. Science Stars engage in an interactive lesson, make a craft to take home and place a star on the attendance chart to earn a Science Star celebration. Lessons enhance and reinforce what is being taught at school.

FETCH! Lab (ages 7-11)

First and third Wednesdays of each month; 3:45–4:45 pm.
A big change is happening at the Danville Science Center! Children who've enjoyed Club Zoom for years will love the "new club in town." Designed after the PBS kids television show "Fetch!," the club offers new and exciting challenges for us to explore. Science + Fellowship + Curious Minds = FETCH! Lab! A Science Center educator leads an hour of investigation, experimentation, cooperative learning and interaction with peers. Join the fun each month and help the club earn points toward a FETCH! Lab Party. Bring a friend and earn an extra point for your club.
