Join us on Earth Day Weekend to enhance the beauty of the Dan River and do your part in keeping our area clean and green.
The Danville Science Center and Danville Parks & Recreation will be hosting the annual Spring River Cleanup on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will meet on the steps of the train station, where they will receive instructions, litter getters and garbage bags. Participants should dress according to the weather. Closed toe shoes are required.
