The Wonderful World of Bugs
June 18 – 22, 1:30 – 4 pm

Catch the latest “buzz” about insects. How important are these creepy crawlies? Use cool instruments to take a closer look at these fascinating creatures. Look high and low at the world of aliens living around us. Watch a magical change take place as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. This is a fun week for your budding entomologist!

Magnificent Maker Camp
July 9 – 13, 9:30 am – Noon

Make Earth a better place! Discover all the fun things you can create reusing and recycling things we throw away.
Turn trash into treasure. Explore fun ways of turning materials into experiments, games, robots that move, feeders for animals and more.

Ages 8 – 12
Camp Fee: $105 Member; $125 Non-Member

Space Adventures
June 18 – 22,
1 – 4 pm
Wonder why sometimes you can see the moon during the day or how two pieces of glass allow you to see objects millions of miles away? Learn the answers through games, simulations and hands-on learning in a weeklong summer camp. Create your own star chart, learn how to use telescopes and travel to neighboring planets in the digital dome.

Robots, Rockets and Racers
July 9 – 13,
9 am – Noon
Design different types mechanical robots and control complex ones by remote control. Make animals talk with computer animation. Assemble a car that moves using the sun’s energy and test the effects of outside forces on their movement. Create rocket powered vehicles that reach to the skies and much more!
