50 Foot Water Balloon Drop
Design and construct a protective device for a one-of-a-kind balloon drop from the dizzying heights of the Science Center.

Join us for an exciting Creativity Lab activity where creators are challenged to engineer an innovative design that can safeguard a water balloon from the forces of impact as it drops from a drone released above the Science Center. Will your invention withstand the plummet and keep the balloon intact? See physics in action and unleash your creative genius while joining forces with fellow creators to test the boundaries of what's possible.

Creativity Lab Activities
Harness your creativity and problem-solving skills in our maker space the J.T. – Minnie Maude Charitable Trust Creativity Lab! Creativity Labs are included with Science Center admission and are 45-minute, educator led, experiences designed to tap into your creative power.
All participants must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Creativity Lab activities will close 10 minutes after their scheduled start time.
