Falling for Science
Effectively design a parachute to slow down the descend of an action figure.

Creators, put your creativity and engineering skills to the test in this action-packed lab! Join us for a thrilling challenge where you will design an efficient parachute to slow down the fall of an action figure down a wind tube. The most effective design can withstand the powerful wind tunnel and effectively slow the descend and land the action figure!

Creativity Lab Activities
Harness your creativity and problem-solving skills in our maker space the J.T. – Minnie Maude Charitable Trust Creativity Lab! Creativity Labs are included with Science Center admission and are 45-minute, educator led, experiences designed to tap into your creative power.
All participants must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Creativity Lab activities will close 10 minutes after their scheduled start time.
